As an independently owned business, we have the freedom to support causes we believe in and positively impact the world. We are advocates for global sustainability. Giving back is essential to us, and we want to share that passion with you. Through your support, we can build a better business by giving back to non-profits around the globe.
Sustainability is at the core of Eco Dog & Cat and affects every decision we make. We strive to leave the smallest possible carbon footprint by supporting local suppliers and environmental causes.
Trees are vital for the future of our planet. They provide oxygen, conserve water, support a diversity of wildlife, improve air quality, absorb carbon dioxide plus other greenhouse gases, etc. It is no secret that our planet is suffering - when trees are changed, reduced or eliminated, the carbon is then returned into the atmosphere like CO2, which has a role in warming our earth's atmosphere. It is estimated that humans have cut down nearly half of the trees on the planet so far, despite their importance. We need to put trees back in any way we can. This is why we are proud to be partnering with the nonprofit One Tree Planted, enabling us to plant a tree for every order.
We are so pleased to play our part in reforestation, and we can't wait to see our impact grow as we do.
To further our fight for good causes, we have become a member of 1% for the Planet since January 2022. We’re proud to be part of a global community and contribute to positive change, where 1% of our annual revenue will be directly invested into environmental initiatives certified by 1% for the Planet.
Through our exclusive “Charity Goodies” collection, we have created eco ornaments to support vulnerable animals in need. 50% of profits from sales in this collection will go to animal shelters in Australia. We plan to support overseas shelters by expanding this collection, so do keep an eye out for the new creations! Thank you for helping us do our part to support our planet and the animals who live on it to lead happier lives because they deserve it.
